Children of Africa Day—held on June 16th every year to highlight the importance of children's rights and equality—is the day we pause to celebrate the birthdays of all of our residential girls. Many of these girls had never celebrated their birthday before coming to Mainsprings, and some don't even know the exact date they were born.
